Fundraiser to support elephants, nature and humans! Across Thailand, farmers suffer from crop damage by wild elephants, which threatens human and elephant life. The Tom Yum project supports farmers to organically grow crops that elephants do not consume. Proceeds go to restoring vital habitat and creating greater social, economic and ecological resilience, so humans and elephants can coexist in harmony.
Raise awareness and support for Asian elephants by sharing the Tom Yum project webpage on your social media.
- Your donation contributes to more elephant-friendly solutions to save the Asian elephant! This is what your donation means for elephants and people:
- For 5 EURO / 200 THB a native tree can be planted to improve the habitat of elephants.
- For 7,50 EURO / 300 THB we can invite a Thai farmer to join a workshop on changing to organically growing crops disliked by elephants.
- For 25 / 1,000 THB we can provide water to farmers during the dry season so that the crops survive and conflicts with elephants reduce.
- For 100 EURO / 4,000 THB you can support a camera trap to monitor elephant behaviour.
